Quinta da Marinha Golf Course: Pro Tips

Hole Tips given by professional players and based on white tees:
The first hole, a long straight Par 5 with Pine trees lining both sides of the fairway, is a challenging shot to the green due to its straightness.
The second is a short Par 3 with water on the left and bunkers on the right. A first bad shot can complicate the par.
The Third is a Par 5 which has a dog leg of the tee from right to left. The out of bounds on the right is a short but wide green.
The fourth hole is a Par 4 which has a slight dog leg from the right to left, with a lake on right the hand side of the green. The out of bounds on the left and fairway are well outlined with trees.
The fifth hole is a Par 3 with a lake which is before a raised green surrounded by bunkers.
The sixth hole is a great double dog leg Par 5 which starts with a drive over a lake, then a dog leg from right to left and then left to right. The green is boarded by two big bunkers.
The seventh hole, a Par 3, has an angulated green and is surrounded by three bunkers.
The eighth hole is our stroke index number one. A long Par 4 up hill turned difficult by the wind. Located in the centre and centre right of the fairway, there are two big trees and a hill.
The ninth is a Par 3 slightly up hill with bunkers to the right and behind.
The tenth hole is a long Par 5 with a lake to the right off the tee, a second lake on the left running up to the green. It has a Dog Leg from the right to the left.
The eleventh hole is a dog leg Par 5 from right to left with bunkers running down both sides of the fairway from 150 metres in. It has a Lake on the right. The green, surrounded by two bunkers, has three elevated levels.
The twelfth hole is a long Par 4 with a dog leg right to left. The green is long with a bunker on each side.
The Thirteenth hole is the signature hole of Quinta da Marinha, this hole bends slightly from left to right downhill towards a wide ocean view. A fantastic ravine on the right.
The fourteenth hole is a difficult Par 3 over a ravine to a narrow green.
The fifteenth is a short but tricky par 4 with a straight fairway slopping from right to left. Accentuated two level green.
The sixteenth hole is a short Par 3 slightly up hill with a green slopping from left to right.
The seventeenth is a Par 4 slightly uphill and bending a little from the left to right. The fairway has a hill in the centre and the green is lined with bunkers.
The final hole is a Par 4 with a fairway bunker well placed in the centre- left. At the beginning, an outbound on the left and a big green with various levels.
